Transport included
Dog boarding with pickup and drop-off in Nashville.
Some providers offer to collect your dog and bring it home, which helps when you leave early for a flight or work long hours. In Nashville, traffic and distance can add a transport fee on top of the nightly price.
How transport affects the bill.
Not every provider does this, so ask about coverage areas and pickup windows.
- Transport is often a flat fee or a per-mile charge on top of the nightly rate.
- Coverage areas are limited, so ask whether your neighborhood is included.
- Pickup windows can be wide, so ask for a narrow time if you have a flight.
- Rush hour on I-65 and I-40 can stretch the schedule.
- Some providers only collect from homes, not from workplaces.
- Ask how the dog is secured and whether the vehicle is climate-controlled.

Before you book.
Is pickup and drop-off common?
Some Nashville providers offer it, but coverage varies. Ask about your area.
How much does transport add?
It depends on distance. Ask for the fee in writing with your nightly rate.
Can they pick up from my office?
Some can. Many only serve homes, so check the policy.
Is the vehicle air conditioned?
Ask. In a Tennessee summer this matters for a safe ride.
